Crystals are minerals and mineral composites… more precisely, crystals are pieces of a larger, homogeneous solid substance composed of various elements that have a natural occurring geometrically, regular form with symmetrically arranged plane faces.
These patterns occur from the intrinsic nature of the constituent particles, meaning elements (Silicon, Carbon, Iron, Phosphorous) and this forms symmetric patterns that repeat and account for the crystal’s ability to manipulate and magnify energy.
Think of a magnifying glass concentrating the energy of the sun to cause a fire…
These crystalline « bravais lattice » structures account for the unique way crystals refract light and create rainbows.
Crystals can grow. They form in caves, volcanoes, along water beds or deep in mountains and under ground. They’re nourished by mineral-rich water, the naturally occurring elements around them, the innate radiation emmitted from surrounding rocks to slowly form these incredibly charged symmetrical geometric patterns.
There are seven crystal structures… More on crystal structures.
It is the elemental crystal composites and geometric symmetry that determines different crystals and their physical properties?
Diamond is a crystal and has a high radiation hardness (meaning it’s not only incredibly hard in physicality, but is resistant to radiation energy) and is used in high-energy particle physics. It is also used in proton radiation therapy for cancer treatments.
Crystals are used in micro electronics, most widely in computer chips.
Quartz crystals have a natural property called pietzoelectricity, meaning they can generate an electrical field, which makes them perfect as parts in radio and video equipment. Quartz is composed of silicon and oxygen, and silicon is used to make microchips for computers cells used in solar technology.
Evidence of use of crystals worn as jewellery and used as talisman’s dates as far back as the Stone Age, around 2.5 million years ago. Ancient Egyptians in particular used crystals for healing. Cleopatra royal women wore Lapis Lazuli, malachite was powdered and applied to wounds to prevent infection, quartz was placed on mummies to help guide the dead into the afterlife.
Modern crystal healing is based on traditional concepts of energy flow, borrowed from Asian cultures, most notably the Traditional Chinese medicine and the concept of life-energy (chi or qi) and Hindu and Buddhist beliefs in chakras, which are cells of this life-energy connected to different parts of the bodies.
In crystal healing, stones are assigned various properties by healers, although there are many different ideas about which stones possess which healing properties. Very often, crystals are associated with different sections of the body, known as chakras.
Crystals harness energy and need to be cleansed of the charges they absorb every once and a while, so they can more efficiently manipulate energy. Crystals can be cleansed in sunlight, moonlight, in a salt water bath, or placed on top of other crystals like quartz or selenite.

Quartz: mineral composed mostly of silicon and oxygen atoms linked as a tetrahedra…. Quartz is the second most abundant mineral on Earth’s crust.
Amethyst: occurs when trace amounts of iron are irradiated from natural radiation emitted from rocks… Earth is filled with energy, solar energy-radiation from the sun-gravitational energy, and radiation emitted from its core.
Rose Quartz: trace amounts of titanium, iron or manganese
Lithium quartz: Quartz infused with lithium. The same lithium used for batteries… and lithium medications for bipolar and schizophrenia. Coincidence that a crystal that
Selenite: calcium sulfate. A stone said to reflect the moon. This crystal is excellent for purifying other crystals and for easing headaches.
Celestite: mostly strontium sulfate…strontium element is used in fireworks or metal alloys
Fluorite: calcium+ fluor… crystalline structure is more cubic.
Black Tourmaline: EMF blocker, blocks-or absorbs negative energy and deflects it from the body. Protects from electronic waves and potentially humans…
Shungite: its unique carbon fullerene structure means this crystal can neutralise water of viruses, bacteria, and radiation. Place a piece of elite shungite in water overnight to clean it.
Place the point of a pointed crystal away from the body to draw energy out, like for a headache.
Place the point of the crystal on a body part or chakra to send Qi energy (infrared/kinetic/life force) energy charged in the hand, directing the body’s healing energy towards that area.
Still doubt the energy power of crystals? Try this experiment: Place a piece of quartz on one icecube and your finger on another… see which melts faster. The energy vibrations harnessed in quartz is so powerful that it can melt ice by agitating water molecules so much that they begin to melt, even faster than the heat of your body.
