Hibiscus flowers hold magical healing secrets. And when taken as a tea infusion, we can absorb the flower’s properties to benefit our own health. Other than the fact that hibiscus is delicious, it offers a host of diverse properties:

Ingredients
1 cup boiled water
2 tablespoons dried hibiscus flowers
1 tablespoons ground fresh ginger
1 teaspoon raw organic honey
1/2 cup sparkling water
Recipe
Bring water to an almost boil and remove from flame.
Add hibiscus and fresh ginger to a mason jar or heat-proof mug.
Pour boiled water over the flowers and cover the top of the jar. Let the tea infuse for 15 minutes.
Strain the tea and add honey.
Let the tea cool in the refrigerator and add sparkling water.
After the tea has infused for 15 minutes, put the jar in the freezer and let it chill for 3 hours until partly frozen.
Shake the jar to break up the ice into slush and enjoy under the sun!
