Grape-Parmesan-cheese-cups-culinarywitch

Grapes and cheese are the core around which any classic cheese plate is built, but the canon needs an update. A delicate parmesan cheese cup filled with stilton cheese, honey, and sliced grapes.

Ingredients

1 cup parmesan cheese

1/2 cup stilton or other blue cheese

1/2 cup grapes, sliced

Recipe

Preheat the oven to 375ºF/190ºC.

To make the parmesan cheese cups, grease a baking sheet and place a spoonfuls of parmesan cheese and flatten them out into 2-3 inch (5-6cm) disks, making sure not to leave any gaps.

Get small shot glasses ready and place them upside. The parmesan cups will be molded around the bottoms of the glasses.

Bake until golden (approximately 8-10 minutes). Using a spatula, quickly lift the cheese disks off the baking sheet and place them over the bottoms of the cups, molding them against the side of the cups with your fingers. Let them set for about 5 minutes.

Once hardened, fill each parmesan cheese cup with a spoonful of cheese, and decorate with the sliced grapes.
